What do you think of the pictures?

  1. That's not a Large Heath, it's a elderly (and rather tatty) ringlet

  2. Having been admonished for putting such descriptions as black butterfly and butterfly eyes on the photos, Sorry Gill< i have been loaned a butterfly and dragonfly recognisation card and have amended descriptions accordingly. If I get them wrong ,please tell me. Clare
  3. Picture no 32is of the Cuckoo Pint. Angela and I saw this on the Valley Drive. Thought how unusual. It is actually poisonous when eaten although was used for medicinal purposes during the last century. See http://www.the- tree.org.uk/EnchantedForest/WoodlandFlowers/lordsandladies.htm
  4. Many thanks to Angela Buck who sent me an assortment of 75 pics. Difficult to choose so I will rotate them.
  5. Many thanks to Jack jarvis who sent in the blue tits . What a lovely photo. I liked it so much I put it in twice.
  6. Here are 3 to start you off. Email me some more and I'll put you up.
